Tips for first timers
There’s truly no feeling like your first time at a Nordic spa. Here are a few things you might want to know ahead of your first visit.
Expect a sensory adventure
The shifts in temperature can feel intense, especially at first. This contrast is energizing and refreshing but may take a few cycles to fully appreciate.
A slow-moving experience
Each cycle of hot, cold, and rest takes about 10-20 minutes. Plan to repeat it a few times during your 2-hour session to fully unwind.
And don’t forget to give yourself some free time afterwards so that you can really relish in the calm of your experience.
Embrace silence and unplug
Clear Nordic Spa is designed for authentic experience. We are a silent spa. Bring a book, a sketch pad or just yourself and immerse yourself in a truly calming environment.
We also have a Zen Community Room where guests are welcome to step in and talk if it feels right for you.
Stay hydrated throughout
You’ll sweat in the sauna, so staying hydrated is essential. Take advantage of our beverage selection and bring a refillable bottle to sip regularly.
Bring a suit
Yes, a swimsuit is required. We also provide all guests with towels, a robe and sandals. If you forget anything, just let our concierge know and we’ll be sure to make the best of your visit.
Relax and enjoy
This is all about relaxation. Move at your own pace, and don’t feel rushed; linger in any phase as long as it feels good to you.
