Clear Nordic Spa is an affiliate division of the Clear Float Spa experiences. Members of Clear Float Spa can enjoy a limited-time membership discount for Clear Nordic Spa in addition to their Clear Float Spa membership.

A Nordic spa, inspired by Scandinavian wellness practices, is a type of spa that emphasizes the use of hydrotherapy alongside a relaxing and natural environment. The experience typically involves alternating between hot and cold treatments, which is proven to stimulate circulation, improve immune system function, and enhance overall relaxation and well-being by increasing neurotransmitter and hormone functions.

The typical Nordic spa experience includes activities such as soaking in warm baths, plunging into cold water pools, relaxing in saunas or steam rooms, and resting periods in relaxation areas that often feature natural settings. The philosophy behind this type of spa is rooted in the idea of connecting with nature and using the elements to invigorate the body and mind, creating a peaceful and healthful retreat.

* Brown fat is a type of body fat that is specialized in generating heat. Unlike white fat, which stores energy and contributes to body insulation and cushioning, brown fat’s primary function is thermogenesis, particularly in response to cold. This makes it unique among body fats.

We have a limited number of memberships available. Anyone is welcome, but only up to our membership capacity. Members can book sessions anytime, while the public can book 72 hours in advance. This makes sure all our guests have an optimal experience in silence.

The spa is designed with multiple spaces, each with a unique function for the optimal experience and opportunity for immersion into thermal therapy. In the main spa area where our hot, cold and relaxation spaces live, it is a silent space—we request guests remain quiet. Anyone looking to chat can do so in our Nordic Zen Room, sound-separated from the rest of the silent spa.

Just a bathing suit and an open mind. Members enjoy spa-supplied towels, robes and sandals for their visit. We also have tea, kombucha and fresh pressed juices.

For members who select a membership with the Bring Nothing™ program, you can bring nothing. Leave your bathing suit with us and we’ll wash, dry and store it for your next visit. The program includes a personal cubby, so you can leave a few other small items like a book as well.

Our members have priority and can access our online booking system to reserve sessions any amount of time in advance. Public drop-ins are available only within 72 hours of the session, if the spots are available.

You can cancel your membership at any time up to 3 days before your next autopay.

We stand behind our product and don’t believe you should have to commit to year-long contracts. Because we are a semi-private wellness spa with limited capacity, we cannot guarantee memberships will be available if you choose to rejoin full-time. But don’t hesitate to reach out.

Each session is 2 hours.

However, you can extend your session “in the moment” for an hour or two if there is availability for a reduced cost. Just ask the front desk when you check in and if there is nobody booked after you it is possible to extend your session. Or you can book two sessions in a row to experience a full day of relaxation.
